Our Mission
The purposes of the Association shall be effectuated through a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering a self-educating community of Chinese professionals and scholars who specialize in environmental protection fields, furthering the well-being of Chinese Community in the United States, and promoting scientific environmental research of Chinese and American professionals and scholars, by the following means:
1) Educate new Chinese immigrants to acclimate to the USA life, familiarize them with a new cultural and social system; help develop their careers smoothly;
2) Facilitate researches in environmental protection issues and enhance scientific communication between USA and Chinese scholars and engineers in this field;
3) Provide charitable services to those who encounter difficulties in pursuing high level education degrees in environmental protection areas;
4) Provide education to communities to prevent pollution and protect the environment by daily activities.
The purposes of CESPN shall be exclusively charitable within the meaning of Sec. 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
